Here’s the low down on what’s coming up for Young Adults at Resurrection this summer. You can email me at nathan.webb@cor.org with any questions or check out the website for more info.
Young Adult Summer Study: We’ll be discussing the book Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller on Sunday nights this summer. We’ll be meeting at The Spring Cafe at Resurrection at about 6:30. You can pick up the book at the church bookstore or find it online. On June 22, we’ll be discussing chapters 5 and 6. We’ll meet every Sunday night this summer through the end of August, with the exception of July 6 and 13 and August 10.
Young Adult FaithWork: We’ll be doing 3 different service projects this summer, partnering with FaithWork. We’ll be meeting in the Narthex of the church the third Saturdays of June, July, and August. The first service project will be on June 21 at 9am. It’s a great place to make a difference, while also meeting other young adults.
Young Adult Worship Experience: You can connect with God and others through an interactive worship experience. The first Worship Experience will be held on July 24 in Room 300. Their will be sweet music and relevant teaching. It’s only going to be about an hour long and young adults are encouraged to go grab food together afterward.
Young Adult Coffee and Connect: If you are new to the church or having a hard time figuring out how to get connected this is the place to come to. Once a month, we’ll meet at The Spring Cafe to talk about how you can get plugged into the life of the church. The first Coffee and Connect will be on August 3, immediately following Sunday night worship. So, bring any questions you might have and we’ll talk talk!
Young Adult Second Sunday Get Togethers: Resurrection Young Adult Ministry will be providing atmospheres to hang out and get to know other young adults on the second Sunday nights of the month. We’ll be doing things like playing games, eating food, and just hanging out. It’ll be a laid back atmosphere with lots of fun. The first Second Sunday Get Together will be on July 13. The details will be posted soon.

I’ll probably look foolish for asking, but where is the Spring Cafe?

Not a foolish question at all. I should’ve clarified! It’s the cafe that is located on the north side of the Narthex of the West Building at Resurrection. It’s right by the church bookstore as well.
